Scanogramms Summer-sprouts

I created these pictures by means of scanography (scanner photography). They are meant to be a modern variant of still lifes. In art, scanography differs from conventional scanning in the use of atypical objects, which are often three-dimensional. One uses the scanner like a camera, but has a higher degree of control. But you can also deliberately give up control when scanning moving objects. What interests me about this technique are the possibilities of blurring and the picturesque shadow effects.

Scanogramms Sommer-Sprosse
