ARIEL-ART 1  (APRIL~MAI)  2021

This new ARIEL-ART issue APRIL/MAY 1-2021 is an anniversary issue: we celebrate the first birthday of ARIEL-ART. This is quite a small miracle in this day and age, when sponsorship has become complicated due to the pandemic. But we have a strong core team of language and poetry lovers who, against all odds, have kept ARIEL-ART moving forward. Of course, we also celebrate the birthday musically and are happy about the Anniversary Anthem that film composer Jan Esperer composed for ARIEL-ART.

For the MAIN TOPIC section „Do it to me poetically,“ many renowned authors such as Yitzhak Laor, Halyna Petrosnyak, Yevgeny Breyger, Johanna Hansen, Ingo Cesaro, and many, many more have sent us poems and short prose, which this time sparkle and shine in a variety of languages.

In the ESSAY section, author Rainer Greubel takes aim at the naughtiness of genderist language in a witty quip, and in an extended essay, author and editor Stefan Hölscher takes a contemporary look at the genre of aphorism.

In the INTERVIEW section, author and art historian Kai Bleifuß talks about his innovative and truly avant-garde prose.

In the DISCOVERIS section, we present the Russian Sappho Sophia Parnok and the lyrical fruits of her tempestuous love affair with Marina Cvetaeva. For this, Elizaveta Kuryanovitch and Amadé Esperer translated and re-penned poems of the two Russian poets.

The edition is rounded off by OPToART, featuring works by Kerstin Römhild, Johanna Hansen and Karl-Hans Graf.

Diese neue ARIEL-ART-Ausgabe APRIL/MAI 1-2021 ist eine Jubiläumsausgabe, denn wir feiern den ersten Geburtstag. Dies ist in der heutigen Zeit, in der aufgrund der Pandemie die Sponsorengelder knapper wurden, schon ein kleines Wunder. Aber wir haben eine starke Kernmannschaft aus Sprach- und Lyrik-Verliebten, die trotz aller Widrigkeiten ARIEL-ART vorangebracht hat. Wir feiern den Geburtstag natürlich auch musikalisch und freuen uns, über die Jubiläumshymne, die der Filmkomponist Jan Esperer für ARIEL-ART komponierte.

Für das lyrische SCHWERPUNKTTHEMA „Mache es mir poetisch“ haben uns viele Autoren und Autorinnen, wie Yitzhak Laor, Johanna Hansen, Yevgeny Breyger, Halyna Petrosnyak, Ingo Cesaro, und viele, viele mehr Gedichte und Kurzprosa geschickt, die dieses Mal in sehr vielen Sprachen funkeln und glänzen.

In der ESSAY-Sektion nimmt der Autor Rainer Greubel in einer witzigen Glosse die Unart genderistischer Sprachverhunzung aufs Korn, und in einem ausführlichen Essay wirft der Autor und Herausgeber Stefan Hölscher einen zeitgemäßen Blick auf das Genre des Aphorismus.

Im INTERVIEW gibt der Autor und Kunstgeschichtler Kai Bleifuß Auskunft über seine innovative und wirklich avantgardistisch figurierte Prosa.

In der Rubrik DISCOVERIES stellen wir die Russische Sappho Sophija Parnok und die lyrischen Früchte ihrer stürmischen Liebesaffäre mit Marina Zwetajewa vor. Dafür haben Elizaveta Kuryanovitch und Amadé Esperer Gedichte der beiden russischen Lyrikerinnen übersetzt bzw. nachgedichtet.

Abgerundet wird die Ausgabe durch OPToART mit Werken von Kerstin Römhild, Johanna Hansen und Karl-Hans Graf.
